DESCRIPTION:The training course is implemented by TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas\, as a CQI and IRCA Approved Training Partner\, ID:6053715  \nDescription\nThis training program provides a comprehensive overview of Environmental Management Systems (EMS)\, including approaches to auditing\, the requirements of ISO 14001\, and the methodology for planning\, conducting\, and reporting a full EMS audit. \nTarget Audience \nThe course is designed for individuals seeking to develop the competence to audit an organization’s environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001\, either as a third-party auditor or as an internal (first-party) auditor. Successful completion of this course is a prerequisite for certification as an Auditor under the IRCA EMS program. \nCourse Content \nWithin the context of first-\, second-\, and third-party audits\, the course covers the following techniques and methodologies: \n\nAudit planning\, including the development and use of checklists\nAudit execution\, including interviews\, document review\, process observation\, and procedural audits\nAudit reporting and feedback techniques\nFollow-up on audit findings and leveraging results to drive continual improvement\nAudit team leadership\n\nParticipants will also be introduced to key concepts in Environmental Management\, including: \n\nPrinciples of Environmental Management\nThe Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) methodology\nISO 14001 standard requirements\nRisk and opportunity management related to environmental aspects and impacts\nCompliance with legal and regulatory frameworks\n\nA very good knowledge of the standard and familiarity with its requirements is required. \nExams \nExaminations are conducted online through the CQI-IRCA examination platform within 30 days from the last day of the training course. Upon successful completion of the examinations\, an IRCA-CQI Auditor/Lead Auditor Certificate is awarded. The exam questions may relate to prior knowledge that is not covered in this course. It is strongly recommended that learners who lack the required prior knowledge acquire it before booking a place on the course. In case of failure in the final exams\, a Certificate of Attendance is issued\, and the opportunity for a re-examination is provided within one year. \nCANCELLATION POLICY:  All training programs are conducted only when the required number of participants is reached. TÜV AUSTRIA ACADEMY reserves the right to postpone\, change the instructors and the location of the program\, as well as to cancel its training programs.
